Here’s one thing I’ve noticed about women who come in for job interviews: they don’t look like they want the job. Or if they do have a job, they look like they just got out of bed. These simple tips could jumpstart your career.
Tip # 1: Invest in a classic, comfortable business suit. You should also avoid wearing clothes that are too revealing or have bold prints and colors.
Tip # 2: Less is more, especially when it comes to make-up. Show off your natural beauty and don’t try to hide what’s on your face. Wear light tones to enhance your features.
Tip # 3: Wear heeled shoes, at least an inch. Heels also make you taller, slender and appear regal. Flat, open-toed sandals are a big NO-NO!
Tip # 4: Don’t wear too much bling. A simple watch, diamond earrings and a pendant will do. Your flashy jewelry will only serve as a distraction.
Tip # 5: Wear your hair in a ponytail, push it back with a headband or simply use some styling gel to keep your hair tame and out of your face.
Tip # 6: Very important! If you plan to wear a skirt, please don’t forget to shave your legs or at least wear stockings.
